Trust While Wending Wended…

He prayed with those drums,
Beating-love rendered.
That tambourine shook
As she followed

Jesus

Had to be there
Because we took,
Remembered,
Swallowed.

I closed my eyes
And there it was:
Their music come to life.
A bird above a barren plain.
Some body selfless,
Loving his wife.

Feeling what’s at stake,
Whispering, “awake,”
While working hard and wending.
Down
Mysterious ways
Where mercy plays
And is ever recommending

Radical
Love
Surrendered
Trust.

He is worthy
Faithful
And forgives
Not merely
Holy just.

Death He tenders.
For He remembers
We are
But lov-ed dust.

All for Him!
Who frees from sin.
HE IS,
God
With us. :)
